Haruki Murakami x John Gall

(via ayazafe)

dorkoinvasion:

It’s that brief intersection of two lives that make you think. They are moments that barely get noticed, yet they hold so many what if’s and could have been’s. Maybe their gazes could have met, or their hands could have brushed, and maybe it could have led to a friendship, to a marriage, to a divorce, or maybe to just one simple chance.

You see, the collective maybe’s amount to a whole life unlived.

When I saw the picture (and read the caption), all I could think is Murakami’s “On Seeing the 100% Perfect Girl One Beautiful April Morning” from The Elephant Vanishes. If you’re into collective stories, then you might want to try this book. Real good.
